What is Real Estate Coaching?
Real Estate Coaching is a partnership between a Coach and a “Coachee” (in this case, a real estate agent). Coaching focuses on the positive; the coach guides the real estate agent through processes that will create solutions to help the real estate agent grow their business. Coaching is for real estate agents who want to grow their business, but need some direction and accountability in order to make it happen!
Patti Hornstra & Company Real Estate Coaching provides individualized coaching for real estate agents across the country who wish to increase their productivity and their bottom line. Our one-on-one real estate coaching focuses on helping real estate agents set and achieve their goals through personal development and behavioral transformation.
Is Coaching the Same as Mentoring?
Coaching and Mentoring are often confused as being the same, but they are quite different.
The coaching agenda focuses on achieving specific, defined goals while the role of the mentor is to provide support and guidance through processes and procedures.
Coaching is proactive, generally more structured in nature with meetings held on a regular basis at pre-scheduled times. The mentor relationship tends to be more reactive with the mentor assisting on an ‘as needed’ basis.
The coaching relationship typically has a set duration (2 months, 4 months, etc.). The mentoring relationship may last for a very long period of time.
